Wundowie Primary Basketball Court Opening
Swans player Brenton Hilton and now, AFL Western Bulldogs player, Riley Garcia visited Wundowie Primary School for the opening of their newly resurfaced basketball courts.
Sporting groups such as tennis, golf and cricket along with other health services joined the Swan Districts Football Club in providing activities for the students. The Swanny boys ran handballing competitions as well as conducting a vertical leap test such as the one conducted at the AFL draft combine.
The Wundowie students and other community participants enjoyed the fun and games. There were plenty of prizes handed out by the Swans players who were fantastic in engaging the Wundowie community.
Swan Districts Football Club continues to develop its community engagement strategy and the playing group forms an integral part of developing our club’s relevance, not just on the playing field but in connecting with our wider community.
