SDFC WAFLW 2020 Coaching Opportunities
With the exciting announcement that Kara Antonio (nee Donnellan) has recommitted to the League Coach role for 2020 we are now looking to expand and enhance our coaching team.
We are currently seeking applications for the following roles;
Head Coach - Reserves
Assistant Coaches - League
Assistant Coaches - Reserves
Assistant Coaches - Rogers Cup
Swan Districts has had a strong women’s football program for the past 10 years. The League team played in the inaugural WAFLW Grand Final last season.
The club continues to invest heavily in its program evidenced by its 2019 home game fan activation strategies and new dedicated women’s football changerooms being constructed ready for the start of the 2020 season. It’s also been busy in the off-season re-shaping its sports science program including Individual Player Development programs which will be in place next season and strengthening its physiotherapy and rehabilitation programs.
“Women’s football is a very important strategy for the club. Its critical we provide our women’s program the same support services we do for the men”, says club Chief Executive Officer Jeff Dennis.
The club is seeking a senior coach for its women’s football Reserves team. It’s essential the club provide an environment where every player can be the best they can be. The Reserves program is a crucial link in the WAFLW player pathway connecting the Rogers Cup and League programs.
The club’s also on the look out for Assistant Coaches for the Rogers Cup, Reserves and League teams.
If you would like to be a part of this dynamic team and be a part of the growing history that we have at Swans with our Female Football now is the time to get involved.
Any interested coaches should send through their football coaching resume to reception@swandistrictsfc.com by COB 18/1/20.
