IMPORTANT NOTICE TO MEMBERS - 78TH ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING ADJOURNED
Wednesday, 8th February 2012
At the 78th Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on Thursday 2 February 2012, a motion to accept the 2011 Financial Statement was unsuccessful. Instead, the Members present resolved to adjourn the Meeting to allow the presentation of more detailed financial information. The AGM will resume on Thursday 15 March 2012 at 6.00pm at the Club.
A Meeting agenda and a detailed financial report will be distributed via the Club’s website prior to the meeting.
We fully appreciate our Members’ disappointment and concern at the significant financial loss recorded for the financial year to 31 October 2011, particularly following five successive operating profits. As reported recently in the media, the Club is working closely with the Western Australian Football Commission to ensure that 2011 is an anomaly and we return to a position of strength in 2012, both on the field and off. Members may rest assured that the Board and staff are fully committed to this outcome, and we look forward to updating you further on 15 March when the AGM resumes.
