Last week was a monster as planned but the boys flew through it very well.
An extremely hard interval running session on Tuesday was followed up by 7 reps of Reabold Hill totaling about 12kms. Then on Saturday morning Shane Saltmarsh, better known for winning Australian and the World Gladiators show, took the boys for a grueling 90 minute flogging. The hill running and weights work was brutal but the lads got through it and have completed a very solid 6 week block of training.
This week we take the foot off the pedal and focus more on game play and skill work tonight on Steel Blue which has been recently top dressed and looks like a beach. Its great to be training at home for the first time in many years so we're not complaining!
Blight back on the track tonight for the first time since surgery which is exciting and we hope to announce a nice recruit next Monday. Good luck to our boys striving to be added to AFL lists in the rookie draft tomorrow!
