Open Day (Registration Day) for all Junior Football Clubs will be held on Sunday, 26th February 2012, with boys and girls of all ages encouraged to head down to their local Junior Football Club to sign up for the coming season. Junior Football Clubs from all over the Swans District will be opening their doors to encourage boys and girls to ‘Play AFL’ or ‘Umpire AFL’ in 2012.
As well as being a lot of fun, playing and umpiring in the Swans District is a great way to meet new friends, maintain a healthy lifestyle, gain personal confidence and develop a better understanding of teamwork. The Swans District has a particular focus on developing and supporting pathways for players, umpires, coaches and volunteers, to promote quality game-day experiences for all participants.
