The quality of the junior and senior clubs in the Swans District is starting to shine through with several clubs reaching bronze and silver level in the Quality Club Program recently. Chittering JFC, Mount Helena FC, Mundaring FC and Swan View JFC have all successfully attained the highly sought after bronze level accreditation. Bronze level accreditation recognises clubs with good administrative practices and provides clubs with a blueprint to measure their performance in relation to governance procedures, codes of conduct, money management, food and liquor service, coach and trainer accreditations, volunteer recognition, umpire support strategies and much more.
Chittering JFC President, Ian Hall said reaching bronze level was a proud moment for his club and its hard working band of volunteers. “We are proud of the direction we are heading as a club and to get bronze level is a real feather in our cap. We look forward to working closely with the Swans District to progress towards silver level,” said Mr Hall. Mr Hall said the bronze level accreditation will assist his club in recruiting, recognising and retaining quality coaches, trainers, team managers and players. “The bronze level shows players and club officials that we are going in the right direction and we are complying with WAFC and Shire of Chittering regulations,” said Mr Hall.
Swans District Manager, Isaac Stewart congratulated Chittering JFC, Mount Helena FC, Mundaring FC, Swan View JFC and Upper Swan JFC for their success in the Quality Club Program. “It’s great to see so many clubs succeed in the Quality Club Program. I look forward to working with these clubs to help them progress to the next stage of the Quality Club Program and ultimately acquire gold level accreditation,” said Mr Stewart.
