It was a ‘not so Good Friday’ for the Swans Districts League and Colts sides in Round 1, as the apparent opening game curse continued for the fifth straight year in a row, after a Royal defeat at the hands of East Perth at Leederville Oval.

The Swan Districts League side will head into Round 1 with almost a full team to choose from. After injuries late last season unsettled the black and whites run in the finals series, a clean bill of health for most players will see them push for a more successful 2022 season.
