V Swans Welcomes Zana to the Team

Former Hedland Senior High School Kicking Goals student Zana Bodey has commenced work as a trainee with V Swans in Hedland. Zana was part of the Kicking Goals Program at Hedland Senior High School as a student, she then moved to Perth for two years where she completed Year 11 and 12 at La Salle College another program supported by V Swans and has now returned to Hedland where she will be the Kicking Goals and Shooting Goals Development Officer.
Zana will primarily be involved with the Kicking Goals and Shooting Goals programs. She has already taken an active role in both practical and theory classes to date. It is fantastic for the current students in the program to see Zana back involved within the Kicking Goals and Shooting Goals Programs, it shows the students that there is a pathway in sport in the Pilbara if that is in fact the path they wish to choose.
Zana has enjoyed her busy start to the year, with fitness and skills testing, some fitness sessions and the major Kicking Goals and Shooting Goals Fundraiser which took place on Friday night. We look forward to seeing Zana grow and develop in this position over the next 12 months.
