Swans Tackling Men’s Health

Monday, March 22, 2021 - 9:59 AM

Have you had a heart condition and want to improve your health and wellbeing? In partnership with Curtin University and the Heart Foundation, Swans are offering a new free, footy-focused fitness and healthy lifestyle program for men who have been diagnosed with a heart condition, and are 18-75 years old.

In 12 weeks you will get to train with our coaches, learn about the psychology of losing weight and eating well, and train on the hallowed turf of Steel Blue Oval.

Swans GM People & Community, Matt Hewitson, said that “this is a great program for guys that need to improve their health and fitness, but don’t like the idea of having to pound-the-pavement or go to the gym. You will get the chance to work with Sandover Medallist and Swans Community Manager, Shane Beros, current WAFLW player and community officer Hayley Cole and new WAFL recruit, Chris Jones.”

The program will start soon and places are limited.
