Roebourne High School experiences a sea of colour
Is there anything better than trying to complete an obstacle course while getting pelted head to toe with an array of different coloured powders?
This is what the students at Roebourne High School experienced last Friday as part of their in-school Colour Run.
Organised by Swans Development Officer Matt Lorne and the Girls Academy Roebourne Team the course was split into four sections, comprising of;
Swans community programs upskilling local youth in Perth
Sometimes all it takes is an example to change someone’s life for the better.
The Swan Districts Community team understands the significance of this truth as they look to be role models in the lives of young people throughout the community.
The Department of Justice through the Criminal Property Grants Program supports Swan Districts to deliver a Mentoring and Leadership program throughout the Eastern Corridor for young people. Read More [+]
‘Feed a Need’, take two!
March 2020 saw the Swan Districts Football Club prepared to open their doors to the homeless and hungry around Perth, providing them with warm food, a cool drink and a place to socialise with staff, volunteers and other community members who were doing it tough.
