Swans renew partnership with Pilbara Motor Group (PMG)
PMG has renewed its partnership and commitment to Swans, supporting us in the delivery of our social impact programs.
Swans Head of Social Impact, Matt Hewitson, recently met with PMG Dealer Principal, Dave Watson, to formalise the extension and visit their brand-new Perth Motor Bodies facility in Welshpool.
“Dave has been a massive supporter for us in the Pilbara for over a decade, and he has now extended this support to our social impact programs in Perth, including our new integrated team in the Perth Football League.”
“PMG’s Karratha dealership, Karratha Toyota, provides our Pilbara based team with vehicles in Roebourne and Onslow, which we use to collect students for school or to take to our programs. The Pilbara is massive, so access to transport for a lot of the young people we work with is a major issue, and creates a further stumbling block when it comes to being engaged in education and their community.”
In addition to providing the Swans social impact team with vehicles, in 2022, Dave Watson announced that PMG will provide further support by donating $500 to Swans for every new vehicle purchased by Swans supporters through www.pmgwa.com.au/swans
“Having lived in the Pilbara myself for 10 years, I have seen firsthand the amazing work that the Swans social impact team does on the ground. Our alignment with Swans is very important and we look forward to continuing to support them with the critical work that they do in Perth and the Pilbara.”
